Our
Series
540 and 440 combine the function of a hardware hinge system with the
benefits of vision capacity. These doors are ideally suited for retail
or commercial settings. They are a beautiful combination of aesthetics,
vision access and security.
The Model 540 is
made of transparent clear or bronze acrylic, natural hardwoods and vinyl
laminate panels are also available. Other 1/8" acrylic
materials are available as inserts by special quotation.
The Model 440 is
made using the same construction as the 540. However the 440 is
better suited for space division within a facility where additional
security like the 540 is not required.
Shipped
complete (shipping included in 48 states) with track and instructions and two types of fasteners,
a workman will have these up in quickly. OR; have your contractor call us.

How
to Measure - We
calculate total door price first on HEIGHT, then the WIDTH to the closest whole foot.
IF your opening is 10 feet 2
inches we calculate at eleven feet times the price shown. If you can build the door
jamb in
with ease to reduce
the overall width to a whole number of feet, your better off price wise.
The door will be
made to fit your opening, DO NOT FUDGE, OR GUESS, THE MEASUREMENT.

- Panel frame:
Each acrylic panel is inserted into vertical aluminum extruded frames
in clear, sand, white and bronze finish. These run the full length of
the panel and are bonded to the panel.
- Panel Frame
Connectors: Full length steel rods in PVC hinge knuckles the full
length of the panel, in the 540 door. The 440 door has vinyl
extrusions.
- Track: 1
1/8" x 1" x .062" aluminum, dark bronze, or clear
finish track optional. Curved track available (see tech
docs) requires 12" on center attachments at header. Curved track and regular track can't be mixed. The WHOLE door
track must be one or the other.
- Lead post: 3/4"
x 2 3/4" heavy aluminum, color coordinated dual trolley
ball-bearing roller system at top.
- Interlocking Jamb
Molding: Aluminum color-coordinated to lead post supplied for
positive door alignment and latch function. Interlocking allows
doors to be used as single, pairs or multi-section units. The
540 features a 1" deep interlocking jamb molding which provides
additional security.
